Consider the goals or challenges you have in your life, and if you feel like you need support in developing strategies to address these areas. Some common reasons people seek therapy include high anxiety, feelings of depression, dealing with past traumas etc.
The consultation call is an opportunity to discuss what your wants are in seeking out therapy, and to learn about the approaches your therapist will take in supporting you. The consultation call is a two-way-street, and the therapist may note that their approaches are not in line with the client's needs, and they may refer the client to another therapist.
Some insurance providers do have coverage for psychotherapy. It's best to reach out to your provider to see what is covered, and how the coverage is to be submitted. Frontier Therapy does not process insurance claims currently.

Frontier Therapy leverages the Jane App for all of it's bookings. Before your scheduled therapy session, you will get an email reminder with a link in it. At the time of your session, clicking the link will open a pop up video chat (similar to Zoom). This works best with Safari or Chrome browsers.
